In collaboration with colleagues of the universities of Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo, Niigata, Tsukuba, and Sapporo, the CEA and ILL organise an informal workshop on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems September 3 – 5, 2012 at the ILL, Grenoble.
The aim of the workshop is to discuss recent trends of the properties of strongly correlated electronic systems by focusing on heavy fermion materials but also on other cases such as new family of unconventional superconductors, frustrated systems with competing ground states, cage compounds and cases of hidden ordering. The key points in crystal growth, new experimental developments, recent theoretical breakthrough including band structure calculations will be debated. The scope is to argue actual open problems in strongly correlated electron systems.
Details on the workshop will be available at the following site : http://www.ill.eu/colloquium-franco-japonais-miyake
