- Duree : 45 minutes
Lieu : Amphithéâtre MINATEC - 3 parvis Louis Néel - 38000 Grenoble
Orateur : A.T Charlie JOHNSON (Professor of Physics and Astronomy - Director, Nano/Bio Interface Center)
The Nano/Bio Interface Center is a Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center (“NSEC”) funded by the United States National Science Foundation. The Center is currently comprised of two research teams ("Biomolecular Optoelectronic Function" and "Molecular Motions”), and a cross-cutting initiative focused on the development of new techniques in scanning probe microscopy that can be applied to nano-bio systems. Center activities include multi-faceted outreach programs to primary and secondary school students, industry, and the general public. We have an active set of international collaborations, including our partnership with the GIANT campus. In this talk I will provide an overview of the Center’s activities, along with some recent research success stories.
Attention !!! L’accés à l’amphi se fera désormais, uniquement par le bâtiment 50B (Maison MINATEC)
