Experimental fission study programs at JAEA
Jeudi 12 novembre 2015 11:00
- Duree : 1 heure
Lieu : Seminar Room 7/8 - ILL 1, 71 avenue des Martyrs, Grenoble
Orateur : Katsuhisa NISHIO (Advanced Science Research Center, Japan Atomic Energy Agency)
Recent development of fission study using multi-nucleon transfer reactions at the JAEA tandem facility will be presented. Using multi-nucleon transfer reactions, a wide variety of nuclei around a target nucleus is produced. By identifying transfer channels, fission data of many compound nuclei can be studied in one experiment. In the presentation, programs for neutron-induced fission using spallation neutron source at the J-PARC facility and the neutron beams from the high-flux reactor at ILL will be discussed.
