High Field and Superconducting Magnets in Japan
Lundi 19 décembre 2016 11:00
- Duree : 1 heure
Lieu : LNCMI, salle de conférences "René Pauthenet" (bâtiment J, 2ème étage) - 25 rue des martyrs - 38000 Grenoble
Orateur : Satoshi AWAJI (IMR Tohoku University, Sendaï) & Hitoshi KITAGUCHI 5NIMS, Tsukuba)
Prof. Satoshi Awaji and Hitoshi Kitaguchi will present some recent developments of High Field Magnets in Japan.
**Recent developments of High Field Magnets in Japan
The 25T cryogen-free superconducting magnet 25T-CSM) was developed at HFLSM. It generates 24.6T with 52 mm room temperature bore.
Including the 25T-CSM test results, recent activities related to the high field magnet development in Japan are introduced.
Finally, the critical issues and status will be summarized in the presentation.
**HTS magnet relating development activities in NIMS
A brief summary of HTS (Bi-2223 and ReBCO) magnet development in High-temperature Superconducting Wire Group will be presented. Latest activity on liquid nitrogen cooled NMR magnets (0.6T Bi-2223 and 1.6T ReBCO magnets) will be included.
