Dr. Gunnhild Oftedal is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Technology, Sør-Trøndelag University College, Trondheim, Norway. In 1977 she gained MSc in Biophysics and in 1985 she completed her PhD in the area of psycho-physioacoustics. From the early 90ies, Gunnhild has conducted research on health effects and electromagnetic fields (EMF), with a primarily focus on symptoms attributed to EMF. She has been a member of several Norwegian expert groups and been engaged internationally in COST Actions and as member of the council of EBEA. Currently she is member of the Core Group in the preparation of WHO’s Environmental Health Criteria Monograph on Radiofrequency Fields.
