We review our studies on heavy fermion compounds during the ERC project (starting grant, “NewHeavyFermion”) since 2010. We focus on the ferromagnetic superconductivity in uranium compound s, notably UGe2, URhGe and UCoGe, where the spin-triplet state with equal spin pairing is realized. Extremely large upper critical field is explained by the ferromagnetic fluctuations and Fermi surface instabilities. This study was extended to the ferromagnetic quantum criticality in UCoAl and related materials. In URu2Si2, we found the field-reentrant “hidden order” state and clarified the Fermi surfaces under pressure. The pseudo-metamagnetism and the decoupling with AF critical field were also studied in CeRu2Si2 and CeRh2Si2. These studies were based on the high quality single crystal growth. The successful/unsuccessful stories for new materials will be presented. All the work was done in collaboration with many colleagues. The ERC project was extended to the new JSPS project “J-Physics : Physics of Multipole Conductive Systems” (2015-2020).
