Mardi 5 juin 2018 11:00
- Duree : 1 heure
Lieu : Salle de Conférence de l’IAB - Rond Point de La Chantourne, 38700 La Tronche (arrêt de tram Grand Sablon, ligne B)

Gliding motility plays a central role in the life cycle and virulence of T. gondii. An unconventional Class XIV myosin motor protein (TgMyoA) is involved, but major questions remain about the underlying mechanism(s). This presentation will discuss new approaches to studying parasite motility, with a focus on functional characterization of recombinant TgMyoA and analysis of the complex pattern of parasite motility within a model 3-dimensional extracellular matrix.
