Oncogenic signaling induced by the non-receptor tyrosine kinase SRC in colorectal cancer
Mardi 12 février 2013 11:00
- Duree : 1 heure
Lieu : Salle de Conférence de l’IAB - Rond Point de La Chantourne, 38700 La Tronche (arrêt de tram Grand Sablon, ligne B)
Orateur : Serge ROCHE (Centre de Recherche en Biochimie Macromoléculaire, Montpellier)
The non receptor tyrosine kinase (TK) SRC coordinates signal transduction induced by growth factors and integrins leading to cellular growth and adhesion. When deregulated, SRC acts as an oncogene, a situation originally reported for v-SRC and since then, observed in human epithelial malignancies including colorectal cancer. Our main objective is to understand how SRC oncogenic induction is achieved even in the absence of mutation of the corresponding gene and unravel downstream signaling involved in tumor progression by quantitative phosphoproteomics. Ultimately, we aim at translating these data into the clinic with the design of novel therapeutic strategies in this cancer.
