Spin electronics for biological signal detection
Mercredi 5 décembre 2018 11:15
- Duree : 1 heure
Lieu : SPINTEC, Bât 10-05 - room 434 A, CEA Grenoble, 17 rue des martyrs
Orateur : Myriam PANNETIER-LECOEUR (senior scientist at CEA Saclay)
At small scales, magnetic materials have different properties from those observed for macroscopic sizes, opening the field to a new electronics ; spin electronics. Where con ventional electronics uses electron charge, spin electronics provides an additional degree of freedom by also manipulating the electron’s magnetic moment ; the spin.
