The driving topic of our team is lymphomagenesis, which we are studying through the molecular characterization of different subtypes of lymphomas using several experimental animal models as well as human samples, and by analyzing the correlation between the behavior of these experimental tumor models and that of clinical tumors.
More specifically, we investigate the mechanisms underlying the transformation of peripheral Tlymphocytes. In addition, we characterize new subtypes of B-cell lymphomas, the genomic alterations and prognostic markers of which remain to be defined.
During this presentation, I will present a new project in which we explored how a chronic stimulation of the T-Cell Receptor drives the development of peripheral T-cell lymphoma.
