The seminar will describe the journey from academic research to industry and will elaborate on the common ground as well as differences between the two. We will have a look at the drug discovery process, the importance of developing novel antibiotics and what to be aware of when engaging into a collaboration or partnership. In addition, we will discuss the expectations to scientist who want to make the switch from one setting to the other.
