Abstract :
Porous Organic Polymers (POPs) have been attracting much attention owing to their potential applications in many areas, including gas adsorption, separation, heterogeneous catalysis, drug delivery and water treatment. The high performance of porous organic polymers (POPs) depends on both their specific surface area and functionality. In recent years, our group have developed functional POPs such as Azo-POP-1 7[1-3], NO2-PAF-1[4], and C2N materials. In this talk, the molecular design of these materials, as well as their applications in gas uptake[4], pollutant removal from water[3] and heterogeneous catalysis[1-2] will be discussed.
