The aparatus for measuring specific heat (Cp) and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) were developed for the experiments under pulsed magnetic fields. Since Cp measures the entropy as a functi on of temperature and MCE traces the isoentropic (H,T) curve, the combination of both techniques can be used to obtain the entropic (H,T) surface. The details of the experimental techniques and the results on BiCu2PO6 will be presented.
